Robert M. Stofer, Jr., D.D.S.
A graduate of Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Stofer completed a General Practice Residency Program at Miami Valley Hospital in 1978. Throughout his career, Dr. Stofer has maintained a high level of academic interest. He has taught many dental programs including: Sinclair Community College, Ft. Hayes Career Center and Ohio State University. He is currently the Director of the Dental Assistant Training School in Dayton, Ohio. Previously, Dr. Stofer has published a weekly dental column for local newspapers and articles in magazines such as "Vogue". Dr. Stofer is a Fellow in both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and American Society of Osseointegration, including the American College of Implantology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentists, fellow in the Midwest Implant Institute, the American Academy of Dental Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Dayton Dental Society. Dr. Stofer is also very involved with local dental activities. He not only has served on the peer review committee for over 25 years, but is currently on the Dayton Dental Society board of directors. Along with these duties, Dr. Stofer serves as a dental consultant for Superior Dental Insurance and is team dentist for the Dayton hockey team, the Bombers. Dr. Stofer is currently on staff at Miami Valley Hospital.

OUR GOAL
The goal of Dr. Robert M. Stofer, Jr. and Associates at Centerville Family Dental is to help you maintain good dental health. Retaining your teeth is vital for good nutrition, speech and appearance. We keep abreast of the newest dental techniques, such as bleaching, bonding, implant dentistry and sealants for children's molars. Performing these services with the highest degree of professional skill. We welcome the opportunity to answer your questions and address your concerns with expertise and courtesy.
APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are made to allow effective and convenient use of your time. This time is especially reserved for you.
EMERGENCIES
Our office will do our best to respond to emergency problems. Once your discomfort has been treated, we will suggest a preventive program to avoid recurring emergencies.
DENTAL INSURANCE
As a convenience to you, our office will submit charges for services to your insurance carrier, but we consider the patient primarily responsible for the account. We participate in nearly all bona fide dental insurance plans and are eager to help you with your claims.
FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
Payment is encouraged at the time services are performed to help control billing and accounting costs. If you wish, you may use your Visa, American Express, MasterCard or Discover Card. Other financial arrangements may be made with our business secretary when extensive dental care is necessary or when the dentistry performed exceeds your budget. We will be sensitive to your financial circumstances within the framework of sound business practices. We want to be concerned with your dentistry, not financial responsibilities.
